Some people are homeless apparently by choice – they prefer not to put up with the rules that go with earning a living or staying in homeless shelters. The real question here is not whether or how Dana could book a hotel room and job interviews, but why she is choosing to do so now, even though she apparently chose not to do so in Philadelphia.
It’s a legitimate question at this point. There clearly is something not right about this situation. Ray needs to tell her to either cut the defensive BS and be honest with him or he’s out the door.
HOMELESS,btdt…couch surfed for a bit before I could pull it together. Lose a job, lose an income, can’t pay rent, lose apartment, bills keep stacking up. Vet, college educated, masters degree and unable to scrape the 1st, last and security together+turn on fees for utilities. Yeah homeless sucks. That was me 45 years ago I was lucky, found a room rent free with a friend who had a spare and needed an unpaid assistant while he was putting a ministry together. Once I was rehired it took several months to keep the bean counters away, save enough for my own place and move on. Forever Grateful to JD for caring enough to care for me when I needed it.
she’s kind of…well I don’t wanna use harsh language so I’ll just say intentionally vague. Like, when you ask her a question instead of giving an answer she makes you feel like you were wrong for ever thinking to ask it in the first place. Think about it, if she talks like this during her interviews is she really going to get any jobs?
One sure thing regarding this story arc, Lots of posters are digging much too deep into it, Me? I’ll just enjoy the ride and wait for the end at the station depot, See you there, Chao !

I wish all of the other homeless people would follow her lead. She is a good example.
