I have never understood people who love the very spicy foods. One guy I know doesn’t consider it good Thai food if he doesn’t end up sweating profusely from the spiciness. I don’t get it — I prefer to actually taste my food.

I use Wasabi, particularly fresh wasabi, to clear my sinuses.
