Sad! Just because a person is old doesn’t mean they have the right to disparage everyone else. One can easily see why her daughter left home. I left home at 18 because my mom was just like her. I wouldn’t even recommend a reconciliation between the two.
Prove what point exactly? Maybe Dana couldn’t take her mother’s nagging and wanted to prove she can make it out on her own or maybe she really is doing this for work and is undercover
So it seems likely that Dana is actually from a rich family and is on the street as some sort of social exercise. However, it seems pretty stupid of her to be carrying around huge wads of cash in her backpack.
