In Panels 2, 3, and 6 we see the action escape the panels, which shows Lynn Johnston was getting a little experimental in her drawing and was no longer drawing just to meet a deadline. Good times are ahead for this comic strip creatively.
I remember as a kid going to a neighbor’s house for a small gathering of neighborhood boys. My friend’s parents were talking to some other neighbors, and they were discussing what a neighborhood terror my little dog was! They didn’t know that was my dog, and I didn’t tell them!
