I wonder how many people are employed by Sedgie’s family?

I question the wisdom of giving a little boy the authority to fire staff, and if you put “of others” at the end of the sentence in the first panel it is totally true. Of course this was a common way for wealthy families to fall, someone did a thing that made them incredibly wealthy, but their children grew up having others do everything for them and when the time came for them to actually take over the family business for real they run it into the ground because they weren’t qualified.

Wait…

So, does this mean inability to appreciate the struggles of the less fortunate is a bad thing?

I thought that was the whole point of the Republican/Ayn Rand philosophy.

The rich need more money to give them, you know, incentive.

The poor need to have money taken away from them to give them incentive.
