Don’t have to show a membership card to get in anymore—just to purchase. And of course the Fed government does not allow membership requirements to buy alcohol so anyone can buy beer and wine without a membership.

$1.50 for Polish dog & drink with refill (in Canada) and a good Montreal smoked meat sandwich. But no real coffee, just the fancy latte. My wife would stop at Tim’s to get doubles for the loading dock guy. No beer or wine (or pot) in Canadian Costco’s

If I were still young & unmarried, I’d save a bomb by eating most of my meals this way at Costco. I’d also sleep in my office, probably.

Reminds me of when Chuck and I went to the mall to poeple watch and go to Mrs. Fields, for the big chocolate chip cookies, plus the pretzel place and more….so simple but so much fun.

I miss Costco’s. We haven’t renewed our membership. Need to do that soon.

We do this every Sunday for a day out.

Federal government does not set alcohol rules in the US – it is set by state. Our Costcos do not have alcohol other than beer and similar which can be sold in supermarkets in this state.

We need a card to walk into all of the Costcos in this area – and have needed same in other states when we have gone. The card is checked at the door before one walks in.

All of the food courts here are inside and one has to have a card here. No coffee served at all.

We also go to BJs as Costco here only had one store with a gas station and it is too out of the way to go to, so we buy gas at BJs. BJs also requires and checks one’s membership card before one enters.
