Of course, most people won’t get it, but I lived in Florida for 35 years, and YES, those little beggers ARE that thick! And they will actually eat the paint off your car if you don’t wash them off just as soon as you can!
I remember them from an encounter years ago while visiting Florida. Individually, they are beautiful little bugs, but they sure mess up the cars and the roads.
Had ‘em this end of the state. They were around twice a year for a while…then for about twenty years you didn’t see them much…then, suddenly, they were back.

I’m trying spraying PAM on the front of my car. Those bugs are so yucky.
