There was a scary story I read back in the day, “The Snail Watcher,” about a guy who owned snails. No spoilers. This has to be read to be believed.

“Hey Phil, she’s not looking at escargot recipes is she? Hey Ernie, does she have the cookbook out?”

Before I read the blurb about Patricia the art work made me think it was something about Hetty on NCIS LA.

You think that’s something, you should see the Oscar Disney got for “101 Dalmatians.”

I had a big snail collection, but I left the top off the aquarium and the ran away.

And she even made a little hot-tub for them – filled with warm melted butter

Just don’t teach ’em pets to fetch newspapers and everything will be all right.

Anyone remember Oswald the Rabbit? He was created by W Disney, but since he was working for someone else at the time, lost the rights.

That Honorary Oscar for “Snow White and the Seven Dwarf” can be seen at the Disney Family Museum in the Presidio in my soon to be former hometown of San Francisco.
