I worked in a restaurant where we had large parties on Saturday Night come in. One was a company of older people who had a rock band that had speakers the size of a small car. They tried to get them to turn them down, but the band could only turn them to a minimum volume of 140DB or so. We laffed and laffed that they hired a band that should have been in an amphitheater, not a dining room.

I’d take both items of Steve Peter is borrowing to a place far, far away from civilization.

Hope their vacation destination isn’t Tepid Springs or Fun-Fun Mountain.

Just as a point of interest – the lowest frequency created by a guitar is not low enough to go to a subwoofer.

I liked those high school bands: if you can’t be good, be loud! Wait, I’ve been in bars where that seems to be the idea.
