About 12 years or so ago, on a worldwide televised space shuttle launch, they would be showing the shuttle at the pad, scenes in the firing room, etc. On one of those in the firing room, they were showing some of the operators at their work stations. Then the guy in the middle of the screen looked to his left, and nobody there was looking at him. Then he looked to his right and nobody there was watching. So he did a quick nose pick. So, nobody on either side of him saw him do it, but around 50 to 500 million people around the world did!

That does seem to happen an awful lot. They must have spotters for camera crews that yell out “Miner in section X”.
