    Something I wrote a few years ago;

    My first haiku. Not

    the best of efforts. I shall

    try to do better.

    I just noticed that the last panel in this strip is also a haiku. Very cool stuff.

    Mother Goose married Dr. Seuss, so Ren and Stimpy gave way to Family Guy and American Dad. Not much of that rhymes, and yes, I’m glad. Not even iambic pentameter. On to Andy Capp.

    I think at four I’d prefer “Mother Goose” to “A Child’s Garden of Haiku”; today, I’d prefer “The Space Child’s Mother Goose”….

    I think we all miss Richard and his genius very much indeed!
