I’m on Ellie’s side here, but technically what the CEO is doing isn’t illegal and he has a right to fire Ellie for insubordianation and property damage if he wants, I wonder why he’s backtracking?
FAMOUS COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS SCHOOL, New York, Paris, Fresno. Lesson #67: Archenemies: Even though merely wearing a name tag and adhering to a corporate dress code scarcely qualifies as a costume, more budding protagonists get their start this way than you realize. In the case of the young lady above, not only has she found her purpose but she has also taken a major step in advancing her second career – she has taken on someone who appears to be ready to devote his life to bringing her down. We call these archenemies: People equally devoted to the antithesis of whatever the hero honors. Dean Emeritus K. El/C. Kent (Class of ‘39) had Lex Luthor, Dean Emeritus B. Wayne (Class of ’39) had the one known only as The Joker, S. Holmes had Professor Moriarty, and the lady appears to have bested the CEO of the company she works for. But check the man’s face in panel 3 – he is NOT happy. Not at all. Despite the fact she is his company’s best salesperson, he is not used to orders not being obeyed. He will return to his corporate office, but will likely make up some cover story about the failure of his mission to bring his subordinate in line, and immediately begin plotting her downfall. It wouldn’t surprise me to find him contacting the admissions department of our rival academy, Sam’s School for Supervillians across the river in Bayonne.
Panel five as whats called a dramatic effect burst of wind. When the tension rises a burst of wind as been known to happen. That is why Ellie’s hair is blowing indoors.

I know Sedine sees her as a rival that once had Sam’s affections but I do hope down the line the both of them can be very good friends.

If I were her, I would boost my hours as a waitress, and buy my own phone franchise and outsell this creep.
