I think that lends itself to a theory on how Phoebe wasn’t affected when she first met Marigold. They were in a dead-zone, or at least a place with a weak signal.

Humans don’t use real magic, so why is English included?

Colloquial unicorn is very similar to English. In fact, I am using it right now.

It would be curious if there are “magick dead zones”. Could they be high in iron content? (Fairies of many types are bothered by cold iron. Steel is refined iron. A connexion?)
