Barney wishes he could turn off Faye’s finger popping “just like that”

Just turn on the TV.

Faye always was a shallow thinker…

Barney, on the other hand, has thoughts moving so fast through his brain, he can’t possibly get to them all.

That’s why, when you try to engage him in conversation, you get: duuuhhh

Well, obviously, Faye’s thoughts are more lightweight to begin with, right?

They dissipate with a snap of her fingers…

you can see the little pieces flying off….

just like the delicate crumbs of one of those impossibly fragile little French wafer cookies they give you with your fresh strawberry ice cream sundae,

(the very best flavor) at Bonnie Bee’s Ballard Street Sweets and Treats…

but they only give you one and you wish you could have six.

But I digress.

Which is very unusual for me, cos I…..

um…. where was I?

 

Oh yes…. Barney’s thoughts are deep….. and heavy….

And even two pillows can’t block the voices rising from the….

gosh…. excuse me….

Just thinking about those wafer cookies is making me want something sweet…

 

I wonder whether I still have any of those nice chocolate squares left from…..

huh? Did somebody say something?

Sigh…. somebody is always trying to distract me and break my sharp focus.

I don’t know why but I hate the sound of finger snapping.

I doubt his thinking was ever turned on.

At the best of times, Barney doesn’t like earworms, but why did it have to be “Hey, Macarena”?

Very nice catching up with you recently. I have to break out of Luann world now and then to see the chatter on other panels and strips. In your brief browser review above I was humorously awaiting your recommendation for Netscape. But I wouldn’t laugh if you somehow were able to make that old bird fly. On my new 2017 Wacom tablet running WIN 10 I have the 5.5 version of Photoshop. Not CS 5.5 from 2011, but trusty old 5.5 from [drumroll] 1999! [cymbal crash].It’s sort of a game now to see how many OS upgrades will still accommodate it. In truth, it gives me all I need for my line of work without the clutter of a 747 cockpit.
