It’s hard to come up with a good answer to questions you hear dozens of times a day at work like “how are you doing?”

I’ve been having good response with “I think I’ll make it”

In Britain, the correct response to “How do you do?” was “How do you do?”

No actual reply as to state of health was expected, and it was bad form to give one.

Is sassy answer class thought by an 80-year old man?

“Whatca up to?”

“Oh, about 4 foot 2 and still growing.”

Or in my case “Oh, about 6 foot and still shrinking” ;-)

total jerk imho with no apparent redeeming characteristics

My lawyer says I don’t have to answer those questions.
