    Watched a Japanese science program where they showed that dogs use their hearing to determine when to jump for a Frisbee.

    There was a sports short spot this past week that had some kind of dog event at the beginning of a baseball game. At the same time one team was on the field tossing the ball around. One dog could stand it no longer and darted on to the diamond to chase the ball dragging his/her leash. Here is the part that REALLY impressed me as the dog chased the ball to the second baseman, he realized what was going on and tossed a grounder towards the 3rd-home base line. The dog retrieved the ball and returned to the stranger at second base who threw the ball and dropped it for a do over.

    Legends from the oldest of dogs say;

    “You might get pie.”

    If your dog has trouble picking up a Frisbee that has landed on concrete or asphalt, try throwing it upside down. It will still fly fairly well, and the raised edge gives the dog something to grasp.
