Our cats and dogs learnt very early on to respect each other. We had a large ginger male and a small cross breed Jack Russel/Fox Terrier. They used to play together very happily. I was never sure who was chasing who around the rose bushes. :) In the cold winter evenings they all used to curl up together around the fireplace. Five cats and the dog. :)
ANAKITTEH LESS THAN A MINUTE AGOWe used to have a small Siamese cat who hated the sheep dog next door. Even though it was three times her size and sweet natured, she would chase it out of our yard every time.

Forget tugging on Superman’s cape.
Ignore spitting into the wind.
Disregard pulling the make off the old Lone Ranger.
You don’t mess around with Gingers!
There is, however, that certain je-ne-sais-quoi about gingers that makes them so enticing.
