Scooter, you rascal. Blatantly sizing up the assets of that retriever. You have to hide it these days, don’t you know?

That’s old Pearson, and he loves leftover Pork and Beans.

No time for a proper introduction (sniffing of butts) but just a passing fancy.

Well, knowing Scooter, he can tell what grocery stores they’ve walked past,

and whether Pearson’s flea collar is outdated.

Plus whether Randall has been petting Maxine’s new kitty,

and who knows, maybe even how much he has in his checking account.

The equivalent to “Whasup?” or “How ya doin?” in humans.

“Hmmm.. Alpo.. three hours and twenty-two minutes ago.. will plop two biggies on the park lawn in eight minutes and thirty seconds.. "
