I don’t think TV’s lies are nearly as big a problem as the fact that we don’t teach our kids to expect anything else from television. I taught my kids from early on- Nothing on TV has your best interest in mind, there’s a vast army of people involved and no one’s job is to advocate for you. Except Mr. Rogers. It still worries me that, when you compare a list of Logical Fallacies and a list of Popular and Effective Advertising Strategies… The lists are more or less the same things.

TV lies as much as internet often. even more with the crappy new animes for kids that teach them to be assholes and barf everywhere…
