I’ve tried that. Let’s see. Oil, $2.69 per quart times five quarts, $13.65, filter around $8, I haven’t priced oil filter wrenches lately, say around $6, good for maybe five uses before it’s lost, comes to $1.20, likewise the wrench for the drain plug, $1.20, oil catch pan around $10 use it 10 times for $1 per change, so far we’re close to $25, plus tax at 9% brings us to $27.25, plus clean-up supplies and driving to the recycling center…hmmmm. Maybe Sergio should take Baldo to the $19.95 fast-lube to watch the process, and get the other vital fluids and tires checked, a chassis lube (a few of us still drive cars with zerks), and lights checked as well. And you don’t have to crawl under the car and change clothes afterward.
