I’m ambivalent about newspapers. On the one hand I like the instant availability of news that the Internet affords but on the other, I can remember accumulating stacks and stacks of newspapers that were thrown out only to be dumped into some garbage dump. What a tragic waste of resources.!
While the loss of newspapers means loss of jobs, I think the Internet, while not as glamorous as newspapers, makes much more sense for our time.

I just bought a Nook eReader and there are lots of newspapers that you can subscribe to that look very much like the printed page.
