This is why you do not get realistic stuffed animals.

I’ve got a rubber snake that looks pretty realistic at first glance

Tried to use it to scare my granddaughters, didn’t work, now it’s in their toybox

Just as long as it’s a plush, and not when of the neighbors living in the hedge.

One of mine once left processed prey (in their case kibble) on the bath mat while I was showering.

Bertie Wooster once brought a “Luminous Rabbit” to a house party in order to wreak nocturnal revenge on a clubmate who had tied up two of the hanging rings just before Bertie tried to cross the swimming pool in his tux. Jeeves came up with a better plan.

I had 3 pet bunnies not too long ago. They were hysterical because their personalities were so different. They used my Labrador for furniture, because he was so laid back. They would hop on him and “conquer” him like a hillside. He just had a confused look on his face like “why are these weird puppies hopping all over me?”

My cats used to have a life sized stuffed rat that provided them with a great deal of entertainment. They just loved to leave it in the hall and watch me jump and shriek in terror. I don’t know what I was thinking buying that stupid thing.
