My husband was trying to grow cilantro in our herb garden. We had mint and basil as well. The wild rabbits here ate ALL of that cilantro pretty quickly and left the mint and basil alone. My husband gave up on the cilantro idea. Apparently the rabbits are too fond of it.
When my husband found out that the bunnies were eating our strawberries, he planted a little strawberry patch just for them. And when our apple crop was over, he bought locally grown organic apples for the bunnies, “because they really love them”. Don’t even ask me about the hazelnuts and the squirrels…..! But I do think he is a kind and lovely man.

As long as they steal zucchini, Charlie will be happy to let them have some produce.

adorable but in real life, those baby bunnies have to shoot back to the gate pretty quickly because the dogs are gentle with them.

Now that’s teamwork. And thoughtful. This strip is always so positive and good-natured. Love it.
