Here’s how to tell if he’s for real. If he’s living next to an electrical substation to avoid the Time Police, he’s real. If he’s living nowhere near one & maybe even off the grid, he’s a fake!
Yeah… it wasn’t thought through very well. Kneeling is submissive, and even respectful. It instinctively shows great deference. Or great fear. Only a military, and only even the militaries of some (not all) of the nations would so strongly prefer standing and saluting, to kneeling. To use it as an act of dismissal or disrespect or even as some poorly executed attempt of an insult… and to have carried it this far… it’s only even held up this long because it’s just different from the ’norm…
It’s like one of those jokes that has to be ‘explained’ before you ‘get it’ and so it’s not as good.
I, too, hope this moves on to some more reasonable outlet and that this one is soon forgotten.
I was in the military. I swore to protect and preserve the Constitution of The United States. Kneel all you want.Or raise your fist, I’ve got your back.
Here’s my only question about the controversy-in-a-teacup: Were the kneelers also protesting in some fashion during the off-season? I honestly don’t the answer.

The kneel/no kneel issue has been solved: Stand with hand over heart for Star Spasngled Banner, kneel for the Russian National Anthem. Thanks D

Tank needs to interview Trump dropping a football in front of him and Tank taking him out on national TV.
