We started taking our daughter to Sci Fi conventions and the Renn Fairs when she was 10. She could go all day (so we didn’t have to carry her), take herself to the bathroom (we were not far behind) and was interested in everything so we didn’t have to listen to “I’m BBOOORRRREEEDDD.” She is now 34 and just as geeky as my husband and I. SCORE!!!!

Not having tried yet, is getting tickets to Comic-Con as hard as it was made out on Big Bang Theory? Seems you need the same luck to win the lottery.

I wish my parents had taken me to Comic-Con. But then there was no such thing when I was a kid.

I’m trying to get my sister to let her kids go to one with me. They’re teenagers now so I shouldn’t be so bad.
