    Hummy(?) could cheer me up!

“Barbacoa – the name itself sounds as if it is time to celebrate. It is an open fire grilling process where a whole sheep is made to roast slowly so that each fleshy part acquires that flabbergasting taste of barbecue bonfire. However, the sheep can also be grilled traditionally in a pit covered with leaves. This barbecue specialty was developed in Mexico just after the Spanish conquest and it was referred to as Barbacoa de cabeza.”

The hummy character is a hummingbird so kicking in pants probably would not work.

I wonder if they put margarita hummingbird feeders up down there?

It is 23 degrees here this morning. It could be far worse, but a beach in Mexico with a shot of Patron sounds mighty appealing.

It’s a balmy 5 degrees here - that’s 41 to you filistines who still use Phahrenheit. Tomorrow it’ll be even warmer. The snow on the ground is fading fast. And this is in Wisconsin.

Wondering, though: if the seasons are four months long, doesn’t that require a sixteen-month year?

For one day, in the Kansas City area, it will be close to a record 68….tomorrow at noon it falls abruptly to teens, the people in the weather business say.

    I love today

40s and overcast today with a “southerly” breeze. And on my B-day to boot! Very nice indeed!

Tomorrow’s forecast is for the 50s with rain. I’l take th rain if the temps are higher! :^))

    I agreewith ponytail56- - -

“Live in a land of four seasons and love each one for what it is, and always glad to welcome the next season.”

But, I have to be honest and admit that I wish that instead of 3 months each, I’d like: Winter 1 month Spring 5 months Summer 1 month Fall 5 months

To each, his own. That’s jusy MY likes, not everyone else’s. I love”light jacket weather”.
