“Flying” over fences like that is definitely harder than it looks.

And Roy is thankful for that.

He’s still a tough old bird!

As I said to Roy, the other day… when I was “cutting” his “hair”…

There’s nothing wrong with not being chicken.

He just hates to admit that anything has changed, as he grows older.

Hence his sadness at no longer being able to … um…. follow the birdies….

and his insistence on getting regular “haircuts”… for which I feel guilty charging him,

but if I don’t, he’s upset cos I must think he doesn’t need them.

Come on, Roy…. we’ve got something bigger to worry about.

Sheriff MonkeyBlues appears to be banned!

I think it’s been going on for a while, and it’s part of the reason we haven’t seen him.

Why would anybody ban our Monkey???

I e-mailed him last night…. we are very infrequent correspondents, as he is, indeed, a very busy monkey.

I just said happy birthday….

and told him I’d toasted him on Ballard St.

He replied, saying he’d just posted on both Ballard St and the 2008 strip where we post on Cleo & Co.

I looked several times and didn’t see any comments from him.

Well…. it just so happens that we’re having another GC glitch or possible up(?)date problem…

I was on my tablet…. couldn’t get to my computer….. and people’s comments aren’t showing up on their profiles when viewed on a mobile device.

So I couldn’t look for his posts.

Luckily, just as I grew very suspicious, BaconBoyCamper posted that he’d checked the Monkey’s profile and couldn’t see his comments on the forums. (thanks, BaconBoy!)

Since then, I’ve looked too, on my laptop….

indeed, the Monkey’s comments are invisible to me, too!

I plan to write the mods and ask for his reinstatement…. hoping it’s just a glitch.
