Kids say the darnest things.

Why do all parents feel that their kid ought tom get A’s? Is it their ego that needs stroking?

Worker ants don’t need individual intelligence, they rely on group intelligence.

But at least that’s the present that doesn’t cost anything!

But how do you wrap that?

I don’t think it’s that unreasonable. She just wants to make sure you’re not a failure and that you know how to work hard.
