Didn’t TJ say that we should have a revolution even twenty years or so? I might be wrong, but we’re overdue. Where’s that Tree of Liberty? We have some tyrants with too much blood.
Security clearances normally lapse when you leave a job and they are not renewed within a certain time. Getting access requires a full, new investigation, which takes time. So I don’t see this as being a big deal, unless whatever Brennan does now requires a clearance. Writing books and TV commentary don’t.
And the new normal is to expect Trump to take revenge in any form on someone who criticizes him. The next step would be for them to file charges for some “breach of security.”
Brennan has served six Presidents. He is a reference text on what we have tried and what went wrong in our Mideast adventures. Trump is throwing away a treasure house of institutional knowledge because his widdle feelings are hurt.
