Isn’t it odd that back in the well-ordered days when school didn’t start until the day after Labor day and ended the day after Memorial day, kids came out of school actually KNOWING stuff? How’d they DO that?

Hey
You’re sitting under a tree
In its coolness you lay
Comforted in fur, we see
On a warm sunny day

There’s a lot you can do after your Do Nothing Day. Like maybe… Building a rocket. Or fighting a mummy. Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower.
Discovering something that doesn’t exist. Or giving a monkey a shower.Surfing tidal waves. Creating nanobots. Or locating Frankenstein’s brain.Finding a dodo bird Painting a continent. Or driving your sister insane.

Ahh, the good old days. Red will remember these a the greatest time he had. Too bad the kids in this era miss most of it because of tech.

So, did Red watch “Toby Tyler” on The Wonderful World of Disney?

All the years I watched Disney, “Toby Tyler” was never on. I always declared, “No shoes! No shirt! No reading! No indoor activities!”
