Dear looks cheesed off! I take it that the argument didn’t go her way!

I say, jam first. You see, cream sticks on top of jam, jam slides off cream. Now pip pip and tally-ho old chap.

I’m guessing that “cream” in this context doesn’t refer to the liquid skimmed off milk.
