I wonder if Scott realizes that Carmen represents the right wing trolls who don’t really care or understand the issues so long as they can bait their “enemy” with terms like “libtard”. For them it’s a team sport and they want their team to win. Unfortunately, they don’t realize that when their team wins, they lose.
Think this is a lame analogy? How many football fans are OK with their taxes going up so the city or county can build a new stadium to keep the team from moving? Check out the chapter on professional sports in David Cay Johnston’s “Free Lunch”. (While you’re at it, read the whole book and learn how many ways your taxes benefit the wealthy at the expense of the middle and working classes.)
The main problem now, without the filibuster, is that the president has no incentive to reach across the aisle as long as he has a majority in the Senate. And right now, he has one, at least until mid-January.
I think we are seeing the crying need for the return of the filibuster for Supreme Court nominations, regardless of which party is “in control.”
Loss of the filibuster is what has turned the Senate into a circus!
Oh, wait! The circus is yet another fine Roman tradition that we’ve adopted.
Carmen, you’re such a republican! A party whose voters operate on pure emotion, with no intellectual understanding of what’s actually happening. Anoesis, to borrow a word from Non Sequitur.

Summary question for all:

Throw those Democrats to the lions!

Haven’t we ALL had this happen at some point in our relationships?

I just figured it’s end of the quarter, Carmen’s prescription ran out, and the insurance company won’t let her get it refilled until Oct 1.

How about we elect the President and Vice President from different parties and reverse the procedure every 4 years? Just saying.

Said it once; think I’ll say it again:
Shout out to all Republicans who believe that the Mueller is trying to undo the 2016 election:
Hillary will not be President if Humpty Trumpty takes a great fall.
We’re talking Mike Pence who, by many expectations, would be Trump – minus the drama.
For this reason, Democrats aren’t that crazy about impeachment – but Republicans ought to be!
