I’d study the cardboard two man sub ad forever. Never bought one though. Never bought the X-Ray specs either. I did get the sea monkeys. I thought they’d soon be singing “I wanna be like You-oo -oo” from their mayonnaise jar. What a rip. Brine shrimp can’t sing. I blame Disney.

He’s only been reading the same half page for 3 weeks because he can’t find where he left off.

I always try to really look at the picture before reading the word bubbles. Its the “proper” way to read the funnies. Although, sometimes I have a hard time not letting my eyes drift to the last panel.

I respect Petey’s distinction of comic books as “active” and movies as “passive” media. I find Alice scary. I think I am becoming my hero, Petey….

Three weeks on the same page and he’s only half done? And they wonder why he can’t find his classroom!
