The Revenge is cruising off the Outer Banks today? Take care, Carolinas!

Not only are the Carolinas getting wet, but Texas and Louisiana have the remnant of a tropical storm. Apparently I did jinx the hurricane season. Here I was saying how quiet it was and BOOM.. the hammer came down.

Helene and Isaac are still in the Atlantic.

Hearts and prayers for all in harms way.

Don’t forget the super storm hitting the Pacific. Flo has fizzled her winds but the one in the Pacific is still a major danger.

Guess I am glad to have one of the only labs that is afraid of water!!!! And being in lower SC, thanks @nikkicatt1

And then there’s our little Border Collie, who is aghast at the idea of being required to actually go INTO THE YARD!!!! to go potty when it’s raining. Or the ground is wet. Or damp. Sheesh! How he’d herd sheep in the Highlands is beyond me.

I’m thinking Louie may br at least part Labrador. I had two black Labs once and there was nothing they loved more than being out in the rain or in water.

I would take ours to the lake at dog park. Throw her ball in, and she’d look at me like; And JUST what do you expect ME to do. She’d walk in, (never run) get it, come in, drop it, I’d throw it back out, and she’s like; You have GOT to be Kidding me!. We’d do this charade for about a half hour. I knew Sunni was done when she would walk out of the lake, and keep walking, with her ball in her mouth. I miss her.
