One more thing: when masks ARE used, they go over the mouth AND the nose. The nose is an entry/exit point just like the mouth. Not grousing at you so much, Brian, so much as at the ignorant airline passengers who don’t know how to use their oxygen masks despite having it demonstrated EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY GET ON A PLANE!!!

My current dentist actually does most of the work during a cleaning and check-up, but I’ve seen dentists in the past like the one Red is describing.

I didn’t know they had dental hygienists in the 60’s. Every dentist I saw did everything.

Interesting. Thought spit sinks went away in the 50’s. Also, don’t recall them (or dentists) wearing surgical masks until relatively recently.
