When my son broke up with his first “serious” girlfriend, I used it as a learning opportunity

They had kissed, once, from what he told me

I told him if a break up hurt so bad when that was all they did, to just imagine what it would have felt like if they had gone further

Like to think I may have kept him from going too far, too young with the next couple of girlfriends

My son went thru a lot of relations, but the only one that knocked him for a loop, was the one where she dumped him.
