Back in the “Olden Days” we would rue the leaves into a big pile and put them out in the street. we would wrap potatoes and sausages in aluminum foil and put them in the pile. We would light the pile and when it all burned out we would retrieve our lunch. Now we compost the leaves and feed our tomatoes, and eat them as part of our salads and BLAT sandwiches.
