    In the old days, they used to do a lot of flying together. Nowadays, I can’t remember the last time I saw them up there in the sky.

    Actually, there are three types of symbiotic relationship. The kind they are referring to, where both organisms benefit, is called mutualism. There is also commensalism and parasitism.

    Yes, Dookie used to fly them around. Maybe they can’t take off since John needs room to sprint in order to get them up to flying speed.

    They actually do have a symbiotic relationship. Not in the biolocical, but in the psychological sense.

    There, the mutual benefit is not of the persons involved, but of their roles in the relationship. Rarely, if ever, such a role is beneficial to even one of the persons
