How would he discern which homonym is which in a common but contextually unhelpful spoken setting? Hmmmm

We had a friend down the block who died of MS a couple of years ago, and for her last 10 years, she lived in her wheel chair. She couldn’t just “go to the … store”. Anything she could get delivered was a real benefit to her. If you mock such people as “lazy”, you should hope you never get such a disease. (And maybe the rest of us should pray that you do get disabled, to teach you a lesson. ;-)

I sincerely, doubt that it was the cartoonist’s intent to make fun of people with disabilities or seniors who are housebound or are financially limited and depend on the wonderful folks from Meals On Wheels.

What Mike is poking fun at are the thousands of Americans who are too lazy to get off their fat a$$ and go shopping or cook for themselves.

I have known people who “were too busy” or “couldn’t be bothered” to grocery shop or cook. Their diet consisted of take out foods, – much of it delivered, because they were to lazy to go and pick it up themselves.

    There’s a helluva difference between a shut-in and a couch potato !

What about the woman who paid over $20 for the avocado toast and then complained because it looked like crap? She posted her pic and complaint and her friends destroyed her!!!!!! (Good!) :)

Hey, delivery guy in blue, if it weren’t for people like that you’d be out of a job.

We used to live across the street from a family that ordered pizza delivered almost every evening. The whole family was obese!
