Mitty was just marking the dining room chairs. Nothing abnormal about that—that’s what cats do. Earl, being a dog, of course, wouldn’t know anything about that.
When a dog marks it is with a substance that is similar to urine, but stinkier. When a cat marks (depends on male or female) they can chin rub or mark with urine. Males can be rough on the olfactory senses.
I hope that Earl and Mitty don’t have a turf war… that would be the ultimate in #holdyournose

Dogs are totally different animals. Mitts you just have to accept that – and feel sorry for him. Cats are far superior.
