Anyone who knows me knows I speak with an accent, but no one can really identify where it’s from. I have been born and raised in Bermuda, but I cannot for the life of me sound like a Bermudian. I have been told I sound like Texas. At least three teachers asked my mother if I was South American. I have never been to any of those places.
I remember one of my uncles (God rest his soul!) introducing me to some of his friends. He told me that some of them asked if I always talked like that. He replied by saying that most people have to spend at least weeks in a foreign country before picking up the accent, but I could pick it up within a day.
So, I either have Foreign Accent Syndrome or a Genetic Mutation.

If these memories are supposed to be Sloth’s attack, they’re failing miserably. The memories seem to be giving Jack and Harry a respite.

Wonder if that’s a pork pie or a pasty? Witch ever it looks like Mal’s enjoying it.

And adult Jack still has a little smile on his face, looking at Mrs O’Malley.

Really, so his accent this whole time is supposed to be Irish? I’ve been reading it this whole time has a more thick cockney.
Goes to show just how much I know about UK accents, eh?

What an unexpected gift, to be able to again see a lost loved one and her kindness.
