So Jane and Dorothy have an event planner. Without a venue what’s there to plan?

Tower of cupcakes?

Aha! A dress.

Just as I suspected.

Cupcakes are chic some circles….

I’ve not been to that many weddings, in recent years…. off the top of my head I can think of four in this century…

and two of those had cupcake “towers” for a cake.

In one, a home-brewed affair, where the bride and her mother baked them all,

there was a large, footed cake plate with a smaller one on top.

both levels and the surrounding tablecloth were circled and filled in with white and pale pink frosted cupcakes…. some with real flowers on top.

For another there was a tiered wire stand, such as I’ve seen for Easter eggs, only larger, with round loops that held cupcakes.

There was a rosebud garland draped around it, as I recall.

Both very pretty… and easy to serve, and to give away the leftovers.

No cake-cutting ceremony, though.

Dotty plus Desperate equals mistake.

Dorothy looks very good in her bridal gown.
