One might infer, from this cartoon, that the Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, is weeping tears of sorrow -this is far from the truth. Brett was notified, after his and his wife’s appearance on the Trump Presidential Network – Fox News, that trump was ‘displeased’ with Brett’s “performance” and that Brett was in danger of losing Trump’s ‘approval’ unless he demonstrated to Trump and his base that he was “more in line” with Trump and the Trumpsters!
So Kavanaugh ‘dropped’ the fair & impartial mask and let it all hang out!
That whole, “the Democrats are out to get me and it’s all a Clinton plot against my President and me” and right down to the “What goes around, comes around!” warning of retribution from the bench when approved WASN’T some heartfelt, off-the-cuff cry if indignation – that was a cold, calculated plan and was read from a script laying before him which I suspect he carefully crafted at his desk at home .
I’m sorry, but, as a Democrat, I am not comfortable with people blatantly lying to me – unlike Republicans, I still have principles, and the lies and prevarications Kavanaugh presented to the Senate disqualify him from ANY judicial position – at all!
