Reminds me of when it would snow in SE Georgia, and everyone would drop what they were doing and go outside and look up. If you looked down, you wouldn’t see anything, because most flakes melted a few feet off the ground.
The first “King of the Hill” episode started off with a tableau of unexpected snow in a Texas town. As straggly snowflakes drift in lazy spirals above the ground, drivers slide around and hit each other. A wonderful example, for me, of how animation can cut closer to the bone than live action.
