So it IS true. Paige is a complete airhead who canât come up with âbig wordsâ. One time in high school, all of us brainiacs were playing Scrabbleâ˘, and we had big and rare words (for high schoolers) like âomenâ and âoxideâ and âdioxideâ and âmonoxideâ, and one onlooker kept staring at the board, and stared at it, and stared at it, and stared at it, and finally just blurted really loud, âWHATâS âE-Y-Eâ???!!!â Yes, that person was also one of the brainacs. Forgot to shift the brain back into first gear, I guess. :D :D :D
Thereâs a Calvin & Hobbes strip similar to this. Calvin spelled âBeâ, then Hobbes, spelled âZygomorphicâ, then Calvin spelled âInâ, then Hobbes spelled âNucleoplasmâ.

You want a game that destroys friendships, try five minutes of âMario Partyâ.

They made a physical board game version of it, meaning you can find words with friends sold on the same shelf as actual scrabble.
