Who doesn’t believe in Halloween?

Hooray, I have a week Snow to catch up with after our trip to the Chuckwalla Mountains not too far from Arizona. 3 inches of rain a few weeks ago have produced lots of little green wildflower sprouts! With the luck of a good rain or two this winter, we will once gain enjoy a colorful spring.

It looks as if Snow is expecting to hear a, Rim Shot!

Coincidence or pulling your leg Snow? How smart is Gimpy?

Heh. Just so happens that this week I’ve been wearing an eye patch sometimes due to a swollen optic nerve in my left eye. When I realized I could see better with that eye closed than with it open (not having to look through the overlay of distortion), I stopped at the local Halloween pop-up store & picked up a pirate eye patch for $2.

It works great – the only problem is, it doesn’t really fit under my glasses. It’s great for reading though, because I’m nearsighted & can read just fine without them.

AAAAARRRRRRR, mateys!

my friends, a request for myself.

On Monday, I’m having cataract surgery on my right eye.I’m not sure if I’ll be able to read that day.

Everyone tells me it’s NOTHING … no big deal, and it probably is. But I have an innate fear of doctors and hospitals, for a long ago good reason that probably doesn’t apply now.

I’d like to be in your good thoughts and wishes on Monday, please.

NOREENKLOSE I hope you see this! A friend of mine has worn glasses since we were in 10th grade! We are now 64! She had it done on both eyes a couple months ago. After all these years, she no longer wears glasses! Have to admit she looks just a little different lol after how many years? But in a good way! She looks GREAT!
