"who am I? my name is ned. I do not like my little bed. this is no good. this is not right. my feet stick out fo bed all night." heart: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I almost forgot how dumb dr. suess books are! gah!
A few days ago I posted something about the pronunciation of âSeussâ. I have since found this, which explains things:
âIt is true that the middle name of Theodor Geisel â âSeuss,â which was also his motherâs maiden name â was pronounced âZoiceâ by the family, and by Theodor Geisel himself. So, if you are pronouncing his full given name, saying âZoiceâ instead of âSooseâ would not be wrong. Youâd have to explain the pronunciation to your listener, but you would be pronouncing it as the family did.
âHowever, if youâre referring to the author of books for children, you pronounce it âDoctor Soose.â For his pseudonym, Dr. Seuss accepted this pronunciation of his middle name.â
A barefoot Heart is cute. It seems she has entered the realm of dreams. At participation of the play, she snorted. Surely, it looks like sheâll be sorted. After this, sheâs very likely to give a hoot.

Itâs a good thing she wasnât reading âThidwick the Big-Hearted Mooseâ, which ends with most of the characters being killed by hunters.
