Why is this puppy the only animal in the strip that can’t communicate verbally?

The perspective is off. A raccoon is a lot bigger than even a lab puppy.

Mr. Fry responded to concerns, mine included, about RJ offering Milk Duds to the puppy on his blog. https://overthehedgeblog.wordpress.com/

—For all you chocolate harmful to dogs people, the Milk Duds are in a box.

We should annotate this strip for the animal rights crowd.—

To which I reply, thank you Mr. Fry for pointing that out. All thoughts of snarky comments about cardboard being a puppy deterrent were pushed aside by the question: Why aren’t Milk Duds available in a bag?

Check out today’s Pooch Cafe, you will see that any mention of dogs and chocolate will get comments from the animal rights crowd.

Conniving, yet cuddly and cute at the same time. That’s our Loki, alright.

Another ideal tribute to Stan Lee.
