gee, I’d like to know where that “somewhere” is.

Someone ought to tell her that fish and houseguests begin to stink after 3 days.

An in-law deciding to stay two extra weeks in December would certainly put a wrinkle in my holiday plans.

(And remind me of a Merle Haggard number…)

Earl can go stay at Pearl’s for the next two weeks.

Earl do you have a cabin in the mountains ?

Earl’s going to look like a prune by the time she leaves.

And what are they doing for entertainment to keep her so enthused?

Give Pearl a big long hug in front of Opal, a kiss on the forehead and a dreamy look in your eyes – she’ll be out of there in no time at all.

The last I heard, it was over the rainbow.

If my one sister in law stayed overnight I would probably have more than wrinkles. Bullet sounds feasible!

Earl is at fault here. He should sit Pearl down and discuss his problem with her, and possibly put this whole thing to rest. As crabby as he is I’m glad she’s staying longer. Maybe old prune face will wrinkle up even more.

maybe Opal and Early should’ve talked it over first before giving Pearl an answer…

That “somewhere” must be the place where those “I’ve heard people say” live, from whom our Stable Genius President gets his “facts”.

It’s a good thing I saved my facial expressions for marriage.
