Sheesh, Hubbs has completely forgotten he IS an amazing football player, everything else heâs thinking is just a distraction! I bet he can play circles around any of those NFU players, no matter how tough Bea makes them!
So panel#3, did Hubbsâ mother lock him in his room? She comes off as overbearing and not into him playing football, but I have no doubt sheâs a doting mother who loves him, and I canât believe sheâd do that to him. Also great use of space in panel#4, I now consider Bea among the Great German Illusionists! XD
I think Ellieâs going somewhere with this, past tragedies have made him stronger and trying to prove someone wrong is one of the best incentives you can have. He can do that if he makes the best out of his past and present to create the future he wants! (Thatâs what I got from her anyway) ;D
Weâve seen that Hubbs is quite good at football. Al caught his big pass on the field. He wouldnât think he was a nobody if he knew heâd already won Ellieâs heart. Unwrap your gift, Hubbs. Youâre in for the surprise of a lifetime.
Well Bea, you did it again. Going where none of us thought you would. Amazing story and of course your art is perfect. Frame #2 so uplifting, #3 so sad, and #4 the perfect depiction of absolute boredom. And of course Ellie, the great optimist in #5. Great job!

An accountant..? That must be painful. So heâd rather be playing football, but I guess things just didnât work out that way.

He reminds me now, all large inside that little cube, of Mr. Incredible.
And to a lesser degree, Aladdinâs Genie.
